How does the cooling mat work without electricity or gel?
The fabric is built from three layers of ice-silk fiber. They draw heat away from your dog and release it into the air. There are no liquids and no battery, just material doing the work. Unroll it, put it on the floor, and it is ready.
How quickly does it feel different?
As soon as your dog lies down, the fabric feels cool and comfortable to the touch. How it feels varies with the weather, how long your dog lies there, and where you place the mat.
Is it safe to leave my dog on it unsupervised?
There is no gel filling, no synthetic additive and no battery, so there is nothing inside to leak. As with any pet product, supervise your dog with a new item, and if your dog is a persistent chewer, check the mat regularly and stop using it if it becomes damaged.
How do I choose the right size?
Go by your dog's size using the size chart on the product page. XS and S suit toy and small breeds, M and L suit medium breeds, and XL suits large dogs or two dogs sharing. If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger one.
How does the buy one get one free offer work?
Pick a size and color and add it to your cart. A second cooling mat joins your order automatically, at no extra cost and with no coupon code. The free mat can be a different color in the same size.
Can I wash it?
Yes. It is machine washable on a gentle cycle and dries quickly. We recommend washing it without fabric softener.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
Shipping is free on every order, delivered to your door. Orders typically arrive within 8 to 16 business days. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to the United States, Canada and Israel.
What if it is not right for us?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return, even if your dog has used the mat. Email mybarklypaw@gmail.com with your order number and we will send return instructions. For a change of mind, return shipping is paid by the customer. If the item arrived faulty or not as described, we cover it.
Is this a medical or veterinary product?
No. The cooling mat is a comfort product. It does not treat, prevent or diagnose any condition, and nothing we publish is veterinary advice. On hot days always make sure your dog has water and shade, and speak to a veterinarian if your dog shows signs of heat stress.
